Trans - He/him. Arrogant | Intelligent | Cocky | Quick-tempered Pietro is a great strategist, and damn-near perfect under pressure. High-risk situations are like water over duck feathers to him, and he is forever stonefaced in the presence of much bigger and dangerous opponents. It is to the point where he gets quippy with them, making fun of their inability to hit their marks, whether Felvarg or other predator. This lends to his chosen occupation, taken on with his mate, Peter; they escort Fels to their destinations, as well as conducting investigations into disappearances and murders all around Ulfrheim and the surrounding islands (Although, it has been speculated that they are actually BEHIND some of these murders.) with their outpost centralized in Bardr, nestled between the seat of the Alpha and Lake Reisa. Pietro has a sharp tongue, lended to him by being raised by Noah. He's also a great fisherman.

HISTORY

Pietro’s history is a complicated one that he scarcely remembers in his teenagehood. He knows that at some point, he was separated from his mother, and that he lost many fels important to him, but he doesn’t remember their faces or their names. The trauma he went through remains in the way he reacts to outside stimulus, particularly threats, although he generally has a good grasp on keeping this at bay. He was raised by Noah, whom he considers a father, and upon a visit to the Hearth, was reunited with his mother, who recognized his gray and blue coat instantly; he recognized her, too. But not as his mother; as the unknown thing that had been drawing him away from the Hearth, from his father and home, for years. After reconnecting with her, he split his time between the two as evenly as he could. Pietro’s presence at the Hearth was missed whenever he left, but as soon as his return was announced, the buzz of excitement ( particularly from Noah ) was felt. As the years went on, he grew to be strong and confident, unafraid of the world around him, especially with his will - o - the - wisp at his side, of which guides him through Ulfrheim, and sometimes Jormungandr and Helvalla. This constant companion is one that freaks others out, as they believe it to be the soul of a fallen Felvarg, long lost to the vale of whispers–but Pietro was never afraid of his companion, and he never will be. His life changed for the better when he went to the annual gathering at the Shrine of Freyja, which led him back to his past, to his best and only friend–Peter. The two’s reunion was the catalyst for him to remember bits and pieces, but he also regained the fel that warmed his heart and kept him going through the most difficult parts of his life. Peter’s friends became his, and they forged a tight bond that no one could ever break.

Pietro's "Grandpaw." Helped raise him alongside Noah for a little bit, and someone Pietro still frequently visits along his trips to the area, where he plays the whole day with the puppies under Gerolamo's protection and listening to old war stories.

The one person he can still be a pup around. (Aside from his mother.)

One of Pietro's best friends, and mate. Their bond is nigh unbreakable, and though they've had trials and tribulations, the night they met was still one of the most unforgettable experiences they've ever had.

Ned also helps Peter and Pietro's business grow, by staying in place and gently guiding their customers to their destination, wherever that may be at the time.

Felvarg: 486-Noah
Noah found the sopping wet, crying pup in his time of need, and though the Alpha planned on dropping him off with Geralamo, the puppy always seemed to find his way back to the rugged.After giving up on that endeavor, Noah became a father of sorts to Pietro (though neither of them will admit this out loud).

Noah taught Pietro all he knows of fishing, and gave him a safe home in the Hearth, though they oft travel across Ulfrheim for better fishing during the different seasons.

Noah is the one who taught Pietro every survival skill he's ever learned, both used and unused. This extends to all aspects of Pietro's life, though--because much to Noah’s amusement, Pietro picked up his sharp tongue and rather blunt way of speaking. This was not thrilling to the rest of the Hearth, who had grown fond of Noah's little shadow, but didn't appreciate the growing list of creative insults he handed out whenever he felt feisty.

Felvarg: 3-Ylva
The mother that Pietro always dreamed of. Though they were separated when Pietro's ears were sealed and his eyes were not yet open, her gentle presence remained throughout his turmoil-filled and bloody pup-hood.

Despite being apart for so long, he still followed in her pawsteps. The world speaks to him, and the creatures that live amongst the Felfolk on the island seem to recognize her visage within the way he holds himself, fearless yet confident.

He is not quite motherly, but he has a certain air about him, a comforting one, that spreads amongst those he speaks to, much like her.

Their relationship is good, although he is a bit clingy. No matter which Island or however many miles separate them, Pietro can always tell where she is; his paws will always lead him back to her, if given the chance.
