Pietro is a great strategist, and damn-near perfect under pressure. High-risk situations are like water over duck feathers to him, and he is forever stonefaced in the presence of much bigger and dangerous opponents. It is to the point where he gets quippy with them, making fun of their inability to hit their marks, whether Felvarg or other predator. This lends to his chosen occupation, taken on with his mate, Peter; they escort Fels to their destinations, as well as conducting investigations into disappearances and murders all around Ulfrheim and the surrounding islands (Although, it has been speculated that they are actually BEHIND some of these murders.) with their outpost centralized in Bardr, nestled between the seat of the Alpha and Lake Reisa.
Pietro has a sharp tongue, lended to him by being raised by Noah. He's also a great fisherman.
HISTORY
Pietro’s history is a complicated one that he scarcely remembers in his teenagehood. He knows that at some point, he was separated from his mother, and that he lost many fels important to him, but he doesn’t remember their faces or their names.
The trauma he went through remains in the way he reacts to outside stimulus, particularly threats, although he generally has a good grasp on keeping this at bay. He was raised by Noah, whom he considers a father, and upon a visit to the Hearth, was reunited with his mother, who recognized his gray and blue coat instantly; he recognized her, too. But not as his mother; as the unknown thing that had been drawing him away from the Hearth, from his father and home, for years.
After reconnecting with her, he split his time between the two as evenly as he could. Pietro’s presence at the Hearth was missed whenever he left, but as soon as his return was announced, the buzz of excitement ( particularly from Noah ) was felt.
As the years went on, he grew to be strong and confident, unafraid of the world around him, especially with his will - o - the - wisp at his side, of which guides him through Ulfrheim, and sometimes Jormungandr and Helvalla.
This constant companion is one that freaks others out, as they believe it to be the soul of a fallen Felvarg, long lost to the vale of whispers–but Pietro was never afraid of his companion, and he never will be.
His life changed for the better when he went to the annual gathering at the Shrine of Freyja, which led him back to his past, to his best and only friend–Peter. The two’s reunion was the catalyst for him to remember bits and pieces, but he also regained the fel that warmed his heart and kept him going through the most difficult parts of his life.
Peter’s friends became his, and they forged a tight bond that no one could ever break.
