Import backgrounds offer an additional layer of customization for your felvarg's official import. Every Felvarg may choose freely between the 'Free Background' options and can equally apply any learned backgrounds they may purchase, locate or earn.
Things To Note?- Felvargs may change their background for free to any learned or free backgrounds.
- Felvargs may have as many backgrounds applied as their heart desires, provided they are located, earned, purchased and then applied.
- Backgrounds are not hereditary and are applied during upload and/or after upload.
- Once learned backgrounds cannot be removed without a Mirror of Recapture. Using one places the background in your BoA (Bind on Account) cache.
Hollowgate

Hollowgate is one of the largest mountain ranges in Helvalla. It is home to a maze of passageways that hide hundreds of shrines, rivers, and massive decorative archways. Glowing pools of water reflect back at you with a magic you cannot place, shrouded in mystery.

The Crescent Scythe

A thick layer of mist settles over the warm shores of the Crescent Scythe, shielding the many caves and passages that settle at the base of the towering volcano. No blood is to be shed along this coast, directly under the protection of whofelever sits upon the Crescent Throne.

Himravann

Himravann is a forest of secrecy and tradition, disconnected from the rest of Jormungandr by a veritable wall of trees that have been planted by thosefel who dwell here over hundreds of years. Every pawstep taken through the thick foliage feels muted, as silent as the old gods.

Helmirk

A forest that radiates its own warmth, Helmirk is covered in lush greenery, vibrant blossoms, and thick vines despite the surrounding climate. Some whisper that it is sacred to Hel herself, the trees seeming to breathe with a pain all their own.

Grimwind

A bitter chill settles into the fur of anyfel who steps into this small meadow, blue blossoms growing along the edges. Though it was previously used as the training grounds for the Eostrilaris, it now hosts several ceremonies and other island-wide celebrations.

Amidst the frozen peaks of Stormr lays Winterglow, a beacon of warmth and light to those who dwell there and those that come to visit. Cobbled stone streets weave their way past sturdy homes, testaments of strength in the brutal cold.

Feltide Festivities

No pawsteps have broken the soft blanket of snow that rests upon the ground in this tranquil and serene forest, each tree wrapped lovingly in festive decor and twinkling with gentle, magical lights. Dawn of Yggdravixen

Countless lanterns float high above the sky in Eptara's Way, allfel celebrating the return of the Yggdravixen to Helvalla's welcoming lands. Petals and blossoms scatter the beach, each one like a small prayer to Eptara herself to bless anyfel who treads upon the sand.

Hongerige's waters have mysteriously receded from the shorelines, exposing the ocean floor for all to see. Scattered glowing gems, stones, and seashells peek up out of the sand, their faces beginning to dry under the moonlight.

Littered with creamy white birch trees that weave themselves into an intricate layer upon the mountains, navigating Dragesheim is difficult on even the most clear of days. Ancient tales speak of massive dragons that lived within this thicket, spewing frost upon the peaks.

The Ivy Veil

This beautiful, blooming meadow holds many dangers within its grasp, from traps dug into its roots that drop you into the twisting passages below, to curious creatures that come out of hiding from the nearby Shady Thicket.

Wickerweave

Haunting echoes follow you as you traverse these forest passages, the trees seeming to delight in your fear. The decaying branches reach like fingertips towards the heavens above while rune scatter the pathways below.

Serpent's Spine

North of Nidkollr lies Serpent's Spine, a small, hardy village populated by rundown homes covered in rough foliage such as herbs and mosses. The Felvargs that live here are druidic in nature, allowing nature to mostly reclaim what still lingers there.

Eden's Arch

Vines, mosses, and flowers encase this natural stone arch, located on a small island in the River Jarl in Jormungandr. There are whispers of innate magics that course through its cracked rock, having been blessed by somefel long, long ago.

Runeway

This long path holds shrine-like stones carved in runic markings, their magical glow shining purple in the low light. Onefel can see Maurr Haugr in the distance, guiding the lost souls that haunt these grounds towards the sea.

Shalalee Glen

This valley is said to be where magic is born on the island of Helvalla. No matter the time of day, colors burst down upon it in a haze; Felvargs often describe Shalalee Glen as an alternate universe, a mystery to all and unknown. The valley will only show its true nature to those worthy.

Graven

Blanketed in a shade of perfect greens, this lovely forest can be perilous to traverse only when onefel isn't paying attention. There are signposts, shrines, and other waymarks guiding the way out, leading away from the forest's darker areas.

Thunderfold Bay

Here along the southernmost regions of Helvalla, the sandy shores of Thunderfold Bay wrap around the island, waves crashing to a familiar beat. Birds of prey linger upon the breeze, families of Felvargs camping just out of reach of the water, some of them digging into the sand to search for the fabled treasure of Eostrilaris.

Eptara's Way

A statue stands erected on the eastern shores of Helvalla, built stone for stone by Eostrilaris, a pack that reigned supreme within Helvalla for hundreds of years. This very statue was done in memory of the pack's fierce and fair leader Eptara, and aptly it was named Eptara's Way.

The Shrine of Saetta

Whispers and visions of thosefel long gone appear and disappear in the corners of your vision as you traverse this peaceful and welcoming forest. Every first pawstep taken on Helvalla imparts a spirit onto the land, and it is said that Saetta can guide travelers to theirs.

Grimmr

The largest forest on Helvalla, Grimmr has been known to take the lives of somefel who enter its massive reaches, their bodies disappearing into the depths without a trace. Those that become lost sometimes return with tales of visions and hallucinations.

Caves of Vaskar

The walls are thick with mosses and vines that creep towards the holes in the ceiling, but the deeper you go, the more treacherous these crystal-studded caves become.

Crystal Falls

Behind the shimmering falls of Nidfjell is a vast cavern glimmering with softly-glowing crystals studded throughout its walls and floors. Water cascades down into the cavern from outside, sunlight peeking through the opening and casting rays of light through the crystals.

Fenrir's Incisor

The embodiment of Fenrir's rage when Hakon was slain, these jagged teeth-like mountains are not to be explored by the faint of heart. The paths are narrow and unstable, each pawstep a gamble as to whether or not the stones will hold.

Fornastir

Belonging entirely to the Faegir Clan and thus forbidden to enter by just anyfel, this once-tranquil forest is now a living training ground, sharpened by grit and ritual. Snares and traps are scattered throughout the trunks, iron lanterns hanging from the canopy.

Haldor's Pass

Two great mountains tower over the Pass, casting what's beneath in darkest shadow. The thick foliage breathes with magic, danger lurking around every tree trunk.

Helheim's Gate is known as the entrance to the underworld, or at least some variation of it - dark-hearted followers of Hel line the lifeless, blackened passages, their eyes following your every movement, ready to pounce at the first sign of weakness.

Gentle currents carry offerings from the shores of Heimta to the center of the lake, each one a blessing and a memory for the Seat of the Alpha. Many young pups take their first swimming lessons in the shallows of these peaceful waters, watched over by the statue of Fenrir.

Said to be haunted by the souls of the drowned and by a great beast that lurks within the waters, Skaro is not for the faint of heart. Distant howls can be heard rippling across its surface, eyes peering through the gloomy depths.

Maeleanott

This enormous tree is fabled to be one of the nine roots sprouting from Yggdrasil, its branches creating a wide canopy above the heads of all that dwell beneath it. Maeleanott's roots make up many winding passages, each one leading to the heart of the tree.

Maurr Haugr

The towering lighthouse Maurr Haugr has burned for hundreds of years and will burn for hundreds more. It serves as a beacon for all those that sail upon Hongerige, its brilliant flame as bright as a miniature sun along the shoreline.

Melrakki

This spacious cavern is concealed by well-hidden passages behind foliage and tree trunks that only the most astute can find; many guardians reside here, nimble-pawed and brave, and they stand as protectors for Skalaness.

Murder of Crows

Circling ominously overhead, the screams of the crows are not quite drowned out by the violent crashing of the waves against the shore, each one a black spot in an overcast sky.

Narghile

Poisonous plants dot the swampy land of Narghile, stagnant pools of water settling in the lower spots while rushing streams that lead out to the sea curve throughout. Vicious creatures lurk below the water, crocodiles eager to rip into the flesh of thosefel above.

Pass of Heidrun

Stepping away from the pleasant meadow leads directly to a pathway that nofel has been able to map; the trees shift and dance in the corners of your vision, fog creeping low along the ground, visions leading you further and further astray.

These steep, winding roads lead the way to the Spine of Odin, canyons lining their edges as if to dare you to peek over and try to see the bottom. Only the most sure-pawed can make their way safely through without joining the haunted dead that dwell here.

Under the protection of the pack Ulvenshul, this immense forest is dangerous to traverse unless you are able to follow the way the roots weave beneath the earth; some claim they lead to the tree of life itself.

Sanna's Grasp

Crystalline waterfalls rush down the side of a mountain just outside of this cavern, wildflowers, mushrooms, and herbs growing densely around its mouth. A shrine to Freyja rests close by, fresh offerings left on its pedestal daily.

Scarlett Woods

Brilliant shades of orange, red, green, and yellow burst throughout the leaves of the trees in the Scarlett Woods year-round, looking bright and cheerful. The forest breathes in echoes of magic, almost as if the trees themselves are practitioners.

Seat of the Alpha

This small island houses a massive statue of the Great Father, Fenrir alongside mighty torches that burn day in and day out throughout the year. This statue can be seen from all points in Ulfrheim, guiding home any who are lost.

Defined by gentle, rolling meadows filled with birdsong and split by creeks of crystalline water, the Shrine of Freyja is a place of peace and healing. Only the most true of heart are allowed to pass through and traverse its tranquil meadows.

Shrine of Ragnarok

The Shrine of Ragnarok is known as a resting place for many Felvargs during the war, blood having stained the ground here over countless years. Fenrir's beloved son Hakon was the first to fall in these hallowed grounds, and to this day the alphas visit the Shrine to mourn the lives that were lost.

Though this forest looks peaceful on the surface, opportunists lurk in the shadows, making use of the twisting pathways to pounce on those less fortunate. All manner of flora grows within the Briar, luring in those searching for rare herbs.

At the bottom of Hongerige where even the fish have sharp teeth, murky waters make seeing clearly difficult, so it's harder to gauge when you're being hunted. Only the most brave fel dive down here to find the treasures that wait within.
