An unfortunate creature of broken spirits and a lost mind. Rhaenyra is no longer who she once was, her past self merely a memory. A once promising young soldier who would do anything to protect her sister, the strong and collected Felvarg she used to be has been broken down violently into shards no longer comprehensible.

It was a gradual thing, losing her mind. Beginning from the moment she had been taken from the battle field and tortured, something that had been staved off with the promise of once again being reunited with the one felvarg that mattered. Her only chance of saving her mentality was ruined the moment she discovered her sister had been murdered in her absence, and as soon as the conclusion settled within her heart, the turmoil that festered unleashed itself.

Rhaenyra spiraled dramatically, becoming more and more lost with each passing day. She was haunted with shadows she swore were her sister, she heard whispers of her name from the dark- agony and anxiety wracked her for months, years, who truly knows how long.

The promise that she will never see her sister again deteriorated the very being that was Rhaenyra until all that was left was a hollow shell of what once was. Nowadays she can barely remember Aerea's name. Her mind has been broken down to the simple function of lusting for blood, fights, anything at all to unleash the anger ever present in her heart. She is incredibly skilled at the art of killing, having mastering it when her conscience splintered and scattered. She is driven by instinct, battle becoming so ingrained in her being that she can act without thinking. She has no care for what happens to herself or others for that matter, and will seek out dangerous scenarios simply to let adrenaline flow. Rhae is inconsolable and lost to the world's empathy, she turns a cold shoulder to every kindness she is shown- she refuses to get close to anyone ever again. Not that many would actively try to befriend Rhaenyra upon learning of her thirst for blood and violently unpredictable moodswings, and ready to turn on anyone in a split second.

She feels nothing, cares no longer, and takes far too much pleasure in cutting down anyone and everyone. Insanity's misfortune, indeed.
History
A mission had gone wrong in her past, her fellow soldiers leaving her for dead, leading to capture and torture by the enemy- and all Rhaenyra could do was remember her sister. Her sister, her best friend, and the one thing that could keep her alive despite the horrors she suffered at the paws of those inflicting them. She vowed to break free and return, as they were all each other had left. No parents, no relations, simply each other. This torture went on for months before she was finally able to escape. With a broken ankle and a battered body she limped home, only to find no one. Dead and out of reach, Aerea was not there to comfort her. Aerea was not there to repair the damaged parts they had left, she was not there to calm the growing confusion and insanity within her mind.

She finally snapped.
