A storm brews ever bright over Haldor's Pass, born as a direct result of the esoteric energy Hel unleashed in a desperate attempt to sacrifice herself to save Fenrir.

This was exactly what Nightfall needed. A heart so battered, so broken, so heavy with sin and riddled with guilt—perfect fuel for esoteric energy in its rawest, most volatile form. Nightfall would go on to fold this magic into a beast she had created herself, a massive rhino later named Orvar. He is laced in heavy protective armor, and while somefel assume it is meant to contain the monstrous magic roiling beneath his hide, the truth is far simpler. The armor exists to protect Nightfall's most prized asset.

What somefel did not know was that Orvar was only the beginning. Nightfall had practiced this magic on the beast, but it was never meant to end there. No—her true intention was the Brunnrekka. Their immense strength and towering forms would have been amplified beyond reason by the rage embedded deep within the esoteric energy.

What Nightfall failed to account for was love.

Hel's love for Ylva. For Ylva's people—the very same who had judged her, who had deemed her beyond saving. Even still, Hel would have ended her own life in the name of that love. That devotion warped the magic in a way Nightfall did not foresee. In the night, when Nightfall slipped through the portal into Niflheim, she burned a peaceful Brunnrekka village to the ground. Among the dead was Rimevald, chieftain of the Brunnrekka, who had led alongside Eptara for many years. Felvarg and Brunnrekka had lived in harmony there, side by side with the Yggdravixen. The Brunnrekka had welcomed Eptara and her kin, as well as the Yggdravixen, into their homes—into their world.

Nightfall thanked them by turning their village to ash.

She cast her dark magic upon them to build an army. In some ways, she succeeded, warping and changing portions of the Brunnrekka. In others, she failed—but regardless, the Brunnrekka paid the price. Those like Rimevald were stripped of their voices, and with them, much of what they once were. Memories faded or fractured beyond reach. Despite many attempts to help them reclaim fragments of their former selves, every effort failed. Again and again. Now, those affected behave as any bear might, driven by instinct alone. No voice of reason, no words left to speak. Only the echo of what was lost.

With Vessra the Nattnkatt at her side, Nightfall would soon set the foundations for an unimaginable war, one fought with a single purpose in mind... the Crescent Throne.

Each Alpha pairing produces one Brunnrekka/Nattnkatt, with likeness catch applied.

A ticket is automatically submitted for reveal at the time of purchase.

Community Guidelines

Members are expected to participate respectfully. Do not guilt, pressure, or shame others for their purchase.

Exclusive items such as titles are available only during the Nightfall's Mark sale and will be permanently retired once the event concludes.

Limitations

All Brunnrekka and Nattnkatt obtained through the sale will carry a special limitation: items that alter their genotype or phenotype cannot be applied. All other visual cosmetics, including physical mutations, and backgrounds may be applied freely. The only restrictions are on items or mutations that directly change the geno/pheno or visually alter the design. This limitation applies only to the sale characters — any genotypes obtained through natural breeding after the sale will not be affected.

Nattnkatt – Custom Creation Slots

To participate, please submit a completed application form in our discord server with as much detail as possible regarding your real-life feline companion. Understand your furry friend will be BoA.

Submissions may feature a cat you currently own, have owned in the past, or a reference image of a cat you wish to bring to life.

You may submit multiple applications; however, submission does not guarantee selection. This is done by means of RNG.

Within the bounds of our design guide, we will translate your feline into a Nattnkatt. If a required marking does not exist, one may be created to achieve the design.

All selected designs will be created by Kit & Bird, two of our core artists. Not all designs are required to be created by our in-house design team. If you're interested in being involved in the design process, you're welcome to discuss this with us. Please note that any genotype provided must be used for its intended purpose and may not be treated as an open-ended or semi-custom design.

Applications will remain open for one week. Once closed, selected slots will be chosen at random from approved submissions.

Pre-declared Nattnkatt are to be paid in USD.

These slots begin at a static price of $75 USD and are then calculated using our semi-custom pricing calculator. Please note that these are not semi-custom designs, but pre-designed presets discussed with you.
