Halsten resides in Glimmerwick, a place of the arcane on Nilfheim. While mostfel of Glimmerwick focus on magic itself, Halsten is much more interested in how it can be harnessed and combined with already impressive, non-arcane creations. Her studio is covered in tiny glass baubles that glow from the inside, magically lit to ensure she can always see as she works late into the night. Halsen’s studio is known to contain the most ground-breaking technology on Nilfheim. Many have asked how she comes up with all of the wonders she builds as they gaze in admiration. Halsten will always have a detailed infodump at the ready, loving nothing more than to have someone to share her excitement with. When she gets stuck and doesn’t see a way forward with a design, she finds somefel to sit and chat with her, sometimes talking through a concept for hours at a time. The studio has been the victim of an occasional explosion from time to time, but that is to be expected with the types of magic Halsten works with.
