Personality:
Svala goes against the grain of a traditional varg in many ways, the most notable difference being that she is every bit the lone wolf type. She has always existed as a recluse, preferring to shun the company of others in favor of a life of solitude. Perhaps it was not always in her nature to be so, but there was also no one to step in as the nurturer when it would have mattered. As such, she is incredibly self-reliant and exceptionally skilled when it comes to surviving and surviving well. Given her lifespan, Svala has had many long winters to hone her skills as a huntress to the point that she rarely, if ever fails in her conquests. Consequently, this has made her rather self-confident - sometimes to the point of being irritatingly prideful. It doesn't help when much of her pride can be justified, too. Unsurprisingly, she is also quite cold, very calculating, and painfully pragmatic. When forced to associate with others ("forced" being the key word, as she would almost never do so willingly), she tends to be domineering and very much has an "alpha" personality. Being so used to calling the shots in her own life, she automatically assumes leadership roles without a second thought. If ever put in that position, she will rarely relinquish power unless she believes the reigns are being given to one she deems sufficiently competent. Love - platonic or otherwise - is not something Svala has ever really known, and it shows. Friendliness makes her uncomfortable and amorous advances (though extremely rare, as she just doesn't attract many suitors for some reason) are usually met with utter bewilderment. She has no tact when it comes to others' feelings, but quite frankly couldn't be bothered to care even if she did have greater social prowess than a brick.
