History

"Captain, how much longer 'til your luck runs out?

How much longer 'til the show goes south?

How much longer 'til we all fall down?

You rely on wit, and people die on it."

Relationships

[Captain and Friend]

He will be with him through thick and thin, honored to be given such an important role among the crew. They don't always see eye to eye but Odysseus is his commander and he must listen.

He also trusts him as a friend to get them through the worst of seas and foes.

[Friend]

He may be a little naive sometimes, but after all they've been through he is needed to bring light when everyone is trapped in the dark. It's easy to forget this kin can be as deadly as the rest of them and just like Eurylochus, carries blood under his claws. He is kind, but he is not weak, and for that the yggdravixen dips his head to him in respect.

Interactions

["Captain, something approaches..."]

Eurylochus wasn't sure about taking this path but entrusted his captain, Odysseus, to get them through it.

It didn't hit him until after the ship was stained with blood that the torches had been an offering to the beast within: Scylla. He was lucky to have dropped the torch or he would've been one of the dead. He fought Odysseus, enraged by the careless sacrifice of their friends... and lost. It took time before he ever healed from the encounter and betrayal and even now, he loves his friend but no longer trusts him as much as he used to.

["Its a game of wits that you don't have to play"]

He didn't go inside like the others, observing from the outside the curse she placed on the crew. He wanted to leave, it wasn't worth it... they lost too much already. Odysseus refused to listen to him, as per usual, and went to fight her.

He didn't know if it was luck or divine intervention that kept his captain from getting turned, or worse, killed.

To his surprise, Circe reverted her curse and let them go unharmed.
