Personality:
Einar was quite the rowdy pup, he always took the initiative to start play-fights and would torment his siblings. It wasn't uncommon for older wolves to find him getting himself into trouble some way or another. He'd often find himself being left out by his litter mates, intentional or not, they just seemed to prefer playing without him due to how disruptive and careless he was, having given them a fair share of accidental scrapes and scratches. He'd never hurt them on purpose. His parents constantly looked at him in ways that made him feel utterly foolish and this only pushed him to be more riled up. His father was strict and punished him whenever he made a mistake. Einar was the first born of the litter and was expected to act that way, to be strong and honorable, but he never did and it angered his father constantly, leaving a mental scar on him.
He was teased by other wolves for his fox-like fur, making him question his heredity, though obviously a wolf. Having so much doubt cast on him was unfortunate, it made him resentful. It was embarrassing.
He didn't have many friends growing up due to his rambunctious personality and love for mischief, but he did have one wolf he cared about dearly.. sort of like an older brother. It was this wolf that taught him how precious life was, but also how cruel it could be; they'd often sit on mountain tops, watching the sunrises and sunsets and storms forming, admiring the terrifying beauty mother nature had to offer. There was an accident when Einar was almost grown. This wolf he saw as his friend, his brother, had drowned in ice cold torrents of water after chasing a hare and slipping on ice. It was an unfortunate accident, nobody could have predicted it.
This caused him to spiral; he became quick to anger, defensive and cold towards others, often spewing out insults. He shut himself off from affection, even from his own, reluctant family. He left his home for a while to travel and explore new lands, he needed something to occupy himself with and this was it. Having the freedom to explore nature's wonders gave him comfort when nothing else could, but it didn’t ‘fix’ him.
Deep down he wants to form a new bond, but he knows his personality is unlikeable to most. Having such raw and constant anger doesn’t attract the greatest of wolves. He hopes one day that someone or something will come along to help him.
