Loner - Sneaky - Cowardice - Nuturing - Witty - Charming
Ryfin is a loner by nature-- or perhaps as a defense against forming attachments to others. He wants to follow the ways of the Nadhir Clan, tending to plants in solitude, but nothing is done on one's own. Ryfin is offended easily and is quick to anger. This prevents him from becoming a respectable farmer or botanist. He delivers biting remarks, but slinks out of any confrontation. He asserts that he could win any fight, but in truth he is a coward. If cornered, he panics and is unable to use any sort of strategy. He worms out of responsibility.
However, he is funny and can be quite charming. He cares deeply, just deflects that care onto plants and nature instead of allowing himself to form relationships. For someone with a constant assertion that they would rather be alone, he sure spends a lot of time slinking on the outskirts of communities...
Ryfin is not a great hunter. He prefers to fish and to steal smaller livestock, avoiding possible damage from the hunt. He is swift and quiet on his feet, making him a decent but un-aspirational thief. He doesn't enjoy doing these things, but he feels it's the smartest option. Besides, who is he really hurting? He deserves to eat and live too, right?
As a pup, he was a lot more eccentric, excitable, and curious. He did not understand when others were upset by his constant movement and so felt always a bit out of place. When others wanted to practice hunting or scrapping, he would always ruin the games with too much motion. His adult isolation is a direct translation of the social isolation he felt as a pup.
