Personality:
Angrboda, mother of monsters and malevolence, was a beautiful beast born of pure, white coat. Some say that she was once betrothed to the great trickster god Loki— forged in the frozen, dark crevices of his heart—and given life through his very claws. She was crafted with the sole purpose to destroy Loki’s son, Fenrir, and would be a weapon that would bring sorrow to all who opposed the heinous god. Many believe Angrboda is the vessel that birthed calamity and despair upon all of Ulfrheim. It is said that Loki planted a seed of evil within her womb, which grew into an overwhelming darkness. This darkness manifested itself into horrific aberrations, from cryptic spirits creeping through the Vale of Whispers, to the vile nightmares of the endless night. It was her sole purpose to bring these beasts to life; Demons and monsters, with wicked claws and rancorous maws that would devour all within their wake. Once the world was filled with these monstrous horrors, Angrboda returned to Loki in hopes of receiving his approval for a job well done; But instead of receiving praise, the deceitful god cast her aside—banishing her for all time and eternity—for she was no longer useful to him. Filled with despair at the loss of her only love, Angrboda’s heart shattered, and she was consumed by the very darkness that she had created. Her chest seeped red from her broken, bleeding heart, and her once beautiful features cracked like a delicate porcelain doll. She would never be the same. But even broken, her devotion to Loki is immeasurable. Angrboda’s plight against Fenrir and his children remains her only goal, with the fleeting hope that she may one day regain the approval of her once begotten lover. Though no one has seen Angrboda in centuries, many still fear the dark mother’s haunting creations and virulent nightmares. Some say she still stalks Ulfrheim’s lands, hiding in the shadows where her monstrous children loom. It is said that those who are unfortunate enough to meet her are doomed to an eternity of despair, and that all who follow the great titanson Fenrir shall be cast into the depths of Helheim, where they will be devoured body and soul.
