Personality:
Mithos’s generally is brooding and moody. He is quick to snap and say whatever is on his mind with a reckless sort of abandon. It’s obvious that he doesn’t care what happens to himself, for he doesn’t care what the consequences are for insulting someone to their face, or barking a witty, barbed comment. He’s bitter, and angry, and hasn’t really gotten over the loss of his mate, who hadn’t been in his life long enough. That brief time with her had opened his eyes and softened his heart, but losing her had created a sharp wall of thorns around his heart. He is always looking for someone to blame, someone to shove his hatred at, because he is inwardly very angry that he was unable to save her. While alone, Mithos drops his guard. Everything about his entire being seems to sag under the weight of his loss and he is unable to let it go. Like his father, Mithos seems completely unable to let go of his past. It hurts him like an open wound, and in his dreams, it haunts him. The faces of his former pack-mates, the memories of wanting to please the alpha, to feel like he could win some sort of praise or just approval, they all surfaced in the dark, or while he was alone. He was completely shaped by his past and by the way the pack’s indifference to his presence. Their indifference molded him into the bitter creature he has become, and only the memory of the face of his lovely mate could remind him that the world was not so bad. One never really knew how Mithos would be from one day to the next. Some days he is capable of being a civil, maybe even thoughtful, felvarg that tries to fit back into a pack society, but even then, his ability to trust can only go so far. He is always waiting for the other foot to fall, always waiting for the darkness he knows to be in each and every heart. His mate loved life, but she was gone now, and he was here alone without a light to guide him. Though he tries to find his path alone, it is much bleaker now; the colors of the world a little less bright, the scents a little less sharp, the sounds a little more muted. With each passing day Mithos can feel the pull of darkness at his soul, and worse, he can feel his resolve to fight it slipping away.
