Rude, condescending, egotistical, and without any social skills to speak of, Mer comes across as 'holier than thou' more often than not, and will defend himself even when he knows he's wrong. As a result, he's more likely to push potential friends away than he is to gain any.
Those that do stick around, however, might get to know another side of the cream male. He is a highly intelligent felvarg who cares more about those around him than he'll ever admit, and he will absolutely risk his life to protect others... he'll just complain about it afterwards... or gloat.
His great love is Ulfrheim's mountains and caves, and he finds great interest in studying them thoroughly. There might be some who claim to know the caves and mountains well, but he will insist that he knows them best.
