When Flame was born, the pup seemed all fine and healthy. He was of average size, his eyes and ears worked quite well. He was always a rambunctious talker, and many wondered if it was ever possible to get him to quit down. But once hunting lessons began, it didn't take long to realize Flame lacked something very important. A sense of smell. He couldn't hone in on the scent trails of prey, or even smell his fellow pack members. While it is true it did hinder him in quite a few aspects, it never rendered him totally helpless. He learned to use his eyes and ears to hunt prey, choosing instead to follow other tracks they have left behind. He learned how to use the stars and landscapes to help him with directions, should he ever get lost. Despite his lack of smell, Flame was incredibly good at sniffing out a certain thing. Trouble. As a young pup, Flame might as well have been the definition of a rebel. He always finds himself in need of rescuing, for adventuring in places far too dangerous for him. His favorite activity though, is getting his siblings involved in his rebellious acts. It's always fun to be bad with friends! Even as he grew into his teenage years, he was still a rebel at heart. He obeyed pack rules, and rules that he actually did believe in, but that was about it. He was a huge pawful for his parents, and he never seemed to fear consequences. He took them with stride, his own little 'battle scars' for doing something most chose not to. Once Flame reached his adult years though, his gears shifted and something within him snapped. He struggled following even pack rules, wishing to break them all- after all, weren't rules made to be broken? The only thing that kept him from doing so was the fact he wished to have a good life within a pack, with his family. That wasn't a surprise to many, but what surprised even him, was the fact his lust for blood grew. It terrified him, he didn't want to fight or kill. But the urges were almost too strong for him to disobey, and it often leads to him locking himself up, tearing up anything within sight. His greatest fear is to hurt someone close to him, resulting in him often distancing himself from them. He hopes one day to get these savage urges under control, before they one day take over.
