Personality
To say that Smores is stupid would be wrong, but it’s an assumption that many make. He is actually rather smart, devoting himself to the old texts that were left behind by the humans. Endlessly he searches for more chapters to delve into, learning a lot about the history of the world as it once was. Because of this, he has drawn this perfect world up in his head, believing it to be the true world. This can lead to him seeming to be withdrawn and often not up to speed with the real world before his face. Even though he has a lot of knowledge to share, it seems irrelevant and made up to those who don’t know the history of Ulfrheim. This has lead to many believing that he’s not very smart, spewing false knowledge. Feedback like this has caused him to draw within himself, relishing in the once-was world that is safe and true. Bringing up the old world will perk Burnt Smores right up, easily excited about it as he believes that he has found one that shares his passion. If they pull face and give him strange looks, he just stands there and blinks at them, trying not to let the waves of disappointment crash over him. There are times when Burnt Smores cannot grasp the conversations going on around him. He is so invested in the old world that he often forgets facts about Ulfrheim as it now is. Comments and facts can seem to go right over his head, leaving him dazed and confused as he tries to grasp onto the “new world” concepts. It seems overly foreign to him, even though it’s about the here and now. To him that doesn’t exist, his endless vaults of knowledge about the island’s past has woven itself into his mind in such a real and true way that it’s very difficult to get out of it. Smores likes to collect any goodies that he can find that involve the old world, and is the proud owner of quite a few impressive artifacts. Don’t get him started on them though, because it’s hard to stop him once he starts. Smores really just is a kind fellow through and through, hoping that one day he will find someone who sees his world, who appreciates his eclectic knowledge base. Credit- MrsEvelyn
