Tarjei is one of the younger members among the pirate crew lead by Meares 4403. He can be cowardly, nervous and always second-guessing himself, but he's actually very intelligent and is valued among the crew as a navigator who knows the coastlines and tumultuous waters of Hongerige better than anyone. As a fighter, he can be unexpectedly powerful with a bark as loud as a thunderclap. Among the crew, Tarjei is teased often, but never out of meanness for Tarjei's skills and knowledge are well-respected. It's just that his personality is so... difficult to resist making a little fun at.

Natsuki #5063

Tarjei dislikes Natsuki greatly as Natsuki has forced Tarjei into working for him after Tarjei accidentally destroyed some of Natsuki's fishing equipment. Unable to reveal his true identity due to being a wanted pirate, Tarjei claims his name is Zeni, but can tell Natsuki sees through his lies and is suspicious of him. He wonders why Natsuki doesn't turn him in right away as the reward money would be more than enough to pay off his "debt" to Natsuki.

Tarjei is shocked that a decent felvarg like Yuki could be a close friend to a taskmaster like Natsuki. He raises a brow whenever Yuki claims that Natsuki isn't that bad of a felvarg, but at least Yuki seems to believe everything he claims about himself.
