A mysterious old nomad, it is unknown how long Derecho had been wandering the lands of Ulfrheim for, though it is known that whenever someone meets him, they might describe him as a guilt-laden felvarg who feels obligated to do good for the future. As he wanders the land, he adopts orphaned felvargs to raise as his own to give them guidance and a better life, but as to what possible "crime" he might have committed in the past to cause him to feel obligated to do such behavior is something he never explains, and something no one ever discovers. It is said, however, that whenever Derecho is approaching, the winds pick up violently and his wispy fur is always being tossed around by those winds, always tangling and wild. He has the look of a felvarg who can never be tamed by the more civilized world and will always remain a traveling loner.
