Aard was but a regular man, working his butt off on a farm in Hearth. His hands were full of blisters and the back pains were killing him, but nontheless, you had to earn your living. One day, however, the poor worker saw an opportunity to do bad; to steal. And, being the poor fellow he was, he did. And thus he started to earn his living like this, stealing and selling. But, as the war broke loose and the small group of humans Loki took with him to the island of Jörmungardr, Aard knew his days were over. For he got caught, and got the punishment coming for him. Aard was beaten, slashed, kicked, and broken. After he was immobilized, he was drowned in burning oil, and set on fire. But he didn’t scream. Not a single sound escaped from his lips, other than the smelling, burning flesh that filled the air and made people sick to their stomach. Days pass and the ash from the fire laid on the ground, untouched. From there, emerged a small sprout. Weeks, months, even years passed, and the small sprout grew into a large birch tree, and inside the thick outer layer of bark, laid a small wolf. Until it was time, Aard grew in the tree, his previous human form turned into the brown wolf he now was. Reborn. Large, brown paws roam the forests, leaving sprouts and little flowers in their prints. The large felvarg walks through the thicket, and quickly the emerald green, glowing eyes lock onto yours, and suddenly all your suspicion is gone. The kind eyes look back towards their destination, leaving you to wonder. Aard is a kind and wise old man. He is calm and his warmth towards others is almost unmatchable. Aard is judgemental though, and usually needs some persuating after he makes his mind about someone. He does not condone well with mindless destruction, but on the flipside he knows that everything ravaged, will be reborn. Aard does not forgive those who wrong him or what he cares for, but he accepts. He doesn’t reject wolves who actively seek forgiveness. The green eyes hide trendeous amounts of pain within them, however. He might be born from the tree but his outer layer is not as thick as the nearly impenetrable bark of a pine tree.. He is the spirit of nature, of life, reborn into the form of a felvarg to fulfill the part he was given. He walked the earth, bringing live and hope where it seems almost gone forever. His element is to revive, to breath life into the world in the form of flora and fauna. He, however, feels every stab made towards nature and it's innocent wildlife, like it was done to himself. He, however, has learned to sustain it.

Felvarg: 3161-Viima

Viima is Aard's daughter. Not the only one, and certainly likely not the last, though she is the one that has stuck with him through the years. He pressures her to do her best, be the kindest person she could be, but he also encourages her to, 'leave the nest,' so to speak. Her concern for leaving him alone is what drives her to linger nearby, though he's never depicted himself as feeble or incapable.
