Before the curse struck him and all of Loki's followers, Krefja was a highly skilled archer for Loki's army. He could move with silent grace, never making a sound as he reached higher ground to get a better shot. His arrows hardly ever missed, nearly every shot was totally accurate. He loved his bows and treated them with great respect, training day after day to better himself. His bow was literally an extension of himself, and he never went anywhere without one. He was well known for his skills in archery, even though he kept mostly to himself along the outskirts of the village. Kref preferred to stay out in the woods in a small hut, keeping his distance from most everyone else. He simply liked being alone and in the peace of nature, with nothing but his bows at his side. That all changed the moment that the curse of the Felvarg struck their island. He was reborn into a brute, a heavy-set, loud direwolf with lots of bulk. It was nothing like his lean, agile human body. Gone were his silent steps, each paw slamming against the earth sounding like a small thunderclap. He can no longer wield his bows, afraid to touch them with his lumbering paws. Since the change, he has had to reteach himself to move with stealth, something that is very much still a struggle to him. He often dreams of his human hands wrapped tightly around his bow, listening to the soft hiss of an arrow flying free, only to wake up to his true nightmare. But Krefja is determined, finding himself traveling from town to town in search of someone to help him once again use his bow in his new body. He will not give up, feeling like he lost an even bigger part of himself when he had to hang up his gear. Krefja is still a bit socially awkward, not used to being around others. He can seem rude or brash, but it's only because he doesn't know the proper flow of language. He still attempts to stick by himself, sometimes quite aloof. Kref isn't much of a talker, but he loves to listen to stories of others if they allow it. All in all he's just an underappreciated man, just trying to find his way of life again.
