Being the young Felvarg known as 'the blind one' within the Village of Skalaness was no easy upbringing when it comes to dear Faith. This sweet girl was cursed with no vision at all from the moment she was born, destined to never see the wanders that Ulfrheim had to offer; or so she initially believed. This made living a normal life incredibly tricky to the female, receiving her unfortunate abundance of cuts, bruises and scars from the endless bumps and trips she would have from her disability. Young pups, unable to understand the concept of blindness at their pure age, had a habit of teasing Faith for her (assumed) clumsiness - something that she tried her best to smile through, even though it crushed her on the inside. Thankfully, the care and support of her small family outweighed the remarks of her bullies despite her occasional doubts in her own abilities. Her mother Nora always found a way to convert her pouts into a smile, and her father Zastrugi accompanied her through the tougher discussions, once being a victim to desertion himself.

However, Faith's absolute saving grace is none other than her older sister, Kharma. Words could not describe how much this Felvarg adores her sibling, seeing her not just as family but as her best friend as well. Fay has always been hesitant to step out into the world, supposedly walking on eggshells wherever she went in case she bumped into others or got in the way. But those fears always seem to fade with Kharma near. Her sister is patient, always giving Faith thorough instructions on where to step and the sort of strides she should make to avoid disasters - and the female would always trust her without a second thought. The two like to wander through the winding paths of Haldor's Pass every so often, mainly for Kharma to abseil the cliffs or discover new caves, but it is also a way for Fay to bond with her favourite person on Ulfrheim. She is sometimes envious of the fact that Kharma could see the views so effortlessly, but at the end of the day is just happy to be in her company.

One morning, as if blessed by welcoming the new day, Faith opened her eyes and was not met with nothingness anymore. In front of her was an orange, flickering wisp - almost like a blazing flame - in place of where Kharma slept in front of her. For the first time in her life, Fay was seeing color; seeing movement; seeing something other than the fuzzy, blurred mess of light or dark. She could see Kharma's soul flickering away right in front of her, and soon she discovered she could experience these same small, colorful glows for any living thing around her. Woodland animals, fish, plants and fungi - Faith was reintroduced to it all through her new and exciting vision. And now, being in her teen years, the female has been able to figure out a color code and overall strength of the glows and gleams of each soul that she meets. She can detect when another Felvarg, animal or existing creature is saddened, furious or in pain from the tones she sees. She knows when they are weakened, or absolutely bursting with confidence and zest due to how strongly their soul surges. She sees when a plant is dying, or when something passes on right in front of her, as their soul fades in front of her eyes... never to be seen again. Despite her newfound ability, the lady still needs a helping hand every so often to navigate around Skalaness due to the structures and buildings, which of course contain no life source for her to work off of.
