Winter Welcome
Autumn turns it's head toward Winter as the snow builds on Fenrir's Peak. Every Fel, young or old, knows that soon the ground will be covered in a thick blanket, concealing the once lush lands of Ulfrheim. Temporary though it may be, it affects each and every Felvarg individually. Some embrace the changing of the season, bright eyed for the merriment that comes with it, and look forward to the overcast days and gentle snowfalls at night. Others just do their best to make it through, missing the warmth of the sun and longing to feel grass under their paws again.
Sorrel, the alpha of the Nuzlocke pack, has led her fellow pack members to a large cave system deep within a pine forest. Their, she assured them, they would be able to weather out the storms and cold of the winter and emerge renewed when Spring comes again. Some are uneasy with the decision, other glad to be out of the wind, but most follow willingly to their short-term home.
Sensing the unease in some of their eyes, Sorrel sets about making the cave as homey as possible. Within days she has laid moss down on the cold black rock, set a small area for a fire in the middle, and has gone around hanging charms and other small treasures from the travels with her pack. Candles sit spaced apart to create an inviting glow, and the cave seems not quite as dark, damp, and mildly depressing as it did when first entered. Sorrel looks at you and your fellow pack mates as you enter to see her completed work.
"Well," she says, warm smile playing on her maw. "What do you think?"
