The ancient forest holds many secrets, both above and below. If it's not hidden in fog it's wrapped in darkness that even the strongest lanterns cannot breach. To those who seek to uncover every dark crevice of Ulfrheim, this simply cannot stand. The more the flock uncovers in Melrakki, the better pawhold they will have across the forest. It takes more than the average felvarge to venture forth into pitch darkness, not knowing if they'll find their way back out. Viridis has searched many tunnels herself before the pack came to be. If she discovered anything; however, she holds it close. Reluctant to give up her knowledge, but encouraging to those who wish to go forth and seek it out themselves. She hints at one thing though, something deep within the tunnels and caves that has slept for ages undisturbed. It's breath foul, filling its cavern with a toxic stench, too big to escape its prison. She caught sight of it only once in her travels and yearns to learn more about it. Tossing a sack of meat scraps your way, she informs you of the general direction and the runes that mark the path. Coax the beast into your light, learn what you can, and return to her with your findings in exchange for knowledge you may value. Viridis encourages you to bring a friend or two... there is more than one beast that lurks deep within the earth.
