Nightmere is quiet and reserved, opposite of his line of work. He oversees a hidden network of natural hot springs tucked within Hymnlaeja’s mountains. The springs only fully awaken beneath the moonlight, glowing softly with silver steam and deep blue reflections like stars in the sky. Many believe the strange blue shade laid carefully over his back was left by years of tending to the springs beneath the moonlight, the moon’s magic soaking into him in turn. The springs he manages are peaceful, healing, and a place of reflection. Travelers who stumble upon them are welcomed without question, no matter who they are or where they come from. Nightmere himself speaks little, given his ties to Hymn and the spirituality the goddess invokes, but his presence is soothing all the same. The waters in the springs are known to be restorative to even the deepest wounds, even those of the mind, and Nightmere can be seen tending to them with quiet, unknown magics every night.
