As brilliant as the morning sun, but unmoving as a mountain comes Solaris, born of daytime’s shafts of light. It is his job to ensure that the cycle of day and night happens smoothly and that the sun rises every morning to chase away the dark alongside his soulmate and sister, Lunara. Proud, steadfast, and confident in his actions, Solaris is not only a divine child of Hymn but also a protector of the herd. He is outgoing and direct; he loves being around his fellow Hrosven and while he does not talk aloud like so many of his brethren, he is a skilled communicator in body language and emotion. Opposite to his sister, he becomes weaker at night and so he spends his time resting in the dark only to rise again with the new sun every morning. Solaris, light triumphant, is a friendly if not somewhat boisterous face among Hymn’s herd, a noble and honorable son that everyone can rely on. He shines as brightly as the day does, encouraging and training foals to find their footing among the herd. Solaris is a widely-known figure throughout Hymnlaeja, and as always he stands ready to take on anything that threatens the heavens’ safety and peace.
