Hymn. In the heavens, her name echoes on the breeze like windchimes in the distance, a gentle and steady presence like an aura around all those who dwell there like an Everlasting Song. There are conflicting stories on how the goddess came to be, but many claim that it was by her tender hoof that Yggdrasil itself was planted, and by her care of the seedling that it flourished into the world we know today. It was she who wove the Hrosven into existence, brought forth by celestial touch and granting physiques that would thrive in her domain. Hymn is divinity, an unspoken prayer on the mind, the love of a mother to her children. She is peaceful, highly spiritual, and while one may never hear her speak out loud, she will communicate with subconscious words directly into one’s thoughts. Some say that Yggdrasil and all of the islands would wither and break away should Hymn ever perish, and others yet believe that to worship her is to ensure her strength. Hymn will proudly lead her herd across the plains of Hymnlaeja, thundering hooves that echo throughout the heavens, but one on one she is warm, attentive, and entirely focused on whoever is in front of her. Hymn works tirelessly to guide wandering souls and to safeguard the cycle of night and day through two of her favored children, Lunara and Solaris, granting her the title Keeper of the Horizon. There is little that goes on in the world that Hymn does not catch, and many come to her for her wisdom on matters that weigh on the heart and soul. She loves all of her children, and mourns the ones that have been twisted and manipulated by Nightfall while simultaneously fighting to bring them back to her. Hymn loves deeply and without hesitation like a fallen star that has found herself home at last.
