Nomadic and adventurous, Calliope is always up for exploring and discovering new things, and new people.
She has a massive love for nature, and family and will do anything and everything in her power to protect those and what she loves, and encouraging them to flourish and thrive.
Though everything in her power can sometimes end up destructive and problematic, as she tends to have an impulsive streak to her that often leads to not-great choices.

She loves other critters, especially insects, and will take every chance she can to make a friend out of one. To the point that she can often be seen with small swarms fluttering around her. She keeps her little buggy friends well fed and well taken care of.

History

Calliope was once part of a nomadic pack, travelling the lands like peaceful shadows in the night. Their impact on the land was little, and left their temporary settlements wild and natural. She was part of the hunters and gatherers, those that would bring food for the rest of the pack. Along with her family.

That was her standard of life until another pack crossed paths with theirs. Their leader claimed they were better stewards of the land, that they should join together under him. Those who denied him were met with a swift end. Calliope's mother and brother were among them. Her sister joined them, as did much of her pack, Calliope saw that the ways this fel preached was not the nomadic freedom she knew, it was a freedom for him alone to do whatever he wanted with a personal army. She chose to flee instead of join them, and now ventures alone. Picking up tasks that she can for others that make use of her skills. Hunting, wayfinding, and the like.

In her lone adventures, she practiced her own nomadic ways still, caring for the world around her and the creatures in it. Her connection with the smallest of creatures seemed to grow the most. Fireflies, bees, insects of all kinds became her kin, she'd provide them with food and safety. Helping defend nests from attackers, and sharing berries and flowers after successful foraging trips.

Soon enough her travels were no longer lonely, and her title ‘swarmkeeper’ earned, as everywhere she then seemed to travel, a gathering of insects followed too.

I found him travelling with a much larger hellhound, Duath. They both seemed a little lost, out of place, and not aware of a lot of the customs. He was very quiet with me, perhaps he's shy? Hopefully we'll warm up to each other soon enough.

I'll be travelling with them for a bit, getting them to a village to rest and get food, and see what happens from there.

I found him travelling with Harland, he's quite imposing, but there seems to be a soft spot for his friend underneath it all.

He seems to really have his guard up, I hope there'll be time to relax for him in the future.

I'm travelling with him and Harland, they need shelter and food, and maybe we'll see how things go from there.
