Hellea's word is her bond. Promises are sacred to her, and she is known for showing up and following through no matter the cost. This sense of honor makes her reliable to a fault, trusted even by those who do not know her well.

She carries herself with warmth, willing to listen and lend support, yet remains careful with what she reveals. Her secrets are closely guarded, and trust is not free, no, it must be earned; maintained. Loyalty runs deep, binding her to her loved ones, her pack, and her word; sometimes to her own detriment.

Hellea is proud, her nose lifted high by the lineage of both her mothers. This pride gives her strength but can make her bristle at insult easily, especially toward Hel. Beneath that pride, however, lies a deep and complex compassion to help those in need. Whether it means guiding the lost, easing the suffering of those she knows and doesn't know, or delivering mercy, Hellea will not turn away from those in need.

History

Born of both love and magic, Hellea’s story began with her mothers, Ylva and Hel. Ylva—daughter of Fenrir and one of the trinity—carried herself with honor and in the pawsteps of the gods her father worshipped, while Hel wore a reputation stained by her dark and regretful past. Yet in one another they found redemption and devotion. When Ylva and Hel sought to bring Hellea into the world, it required more than desire alone. The two had to undertake a great many rituals and blessings, traveling shrine to shrine across more than Ulfrheim alone. At each sacred shrine they offered themselves—blood, prayer, and sacrifice—proving their sincerity not just to one another, but to the gods themselves. One by one, the shrines accepted them. Blessings were bestowed upon both Ylva and Hel, but not without great challenges that often left the two steps shy of defeat.

It was only when these rituals were complete that Hel could open the portal into Hymnlæja, where the two of them visited an altar tucked upon Hymnlæja’s highest peaks to seek out one final blessing. With this divine blessing behind them, Hellea was conceived. She was raised not in the shadows or without love, but wrapped in the warmth of both Ylva and Hel’s devotion and protection.

From Ylva, Hellea inherited discipline, grace, and a sense of honor so pure to even the blindest of eyes it was clear she walked in the pawsteps of the trinity. From Hel, she learned adaptability, fostered great pride in who she was, studied in the art of herbs and remedies, and the will to survive where otherfels would falter. Though whispers of Hel’s past never ceased, Hellea grew to respect her all the more—defending her mothers against judgement and admiring the strength it took to rise above it all together paw in paw.

As she matured, Hellea broke free from the path of both Ylva and Hel to forge her own future. With the support of her mothers Hellea became the alpha of Ravn’s Wake. This very pack would later be known as a roaming, seafaring pack of traders, couriers, crafters, and seekers. Before long Ravn’s Wake was known by most, their lantern-marked stalls and sails a symbol of safety, reliability and sanctuary. Hellea’s philosophy mirrored those she led in Ravn’s Wake. Nothing wasted, nothing forgotten, always moving forward, and always leaving a wake behind.

For many years Hellea kept herself disconnected from the idea of romance. She believed love would be a distraction, leading her off course and away from her true purpose. Those beliefs shattered when she met Juno, who from hello awoke a desire Hellea never knew herself capable of. Now Hellea balances her duties as Alpha of Ravn’s Wake alongside her soulmate Juno, where the two practice leadership and compassion in equal amounts.

Ylva gave Hellea her steadiness. From her, Hellea inherited her reliability, compassion, and the habit of listening before acting. Ylva’s guidance instilled in her the idea that promises and oaths are sacred. Their bond is rooted in quiet strength. Ylva serves as the anchor that tempers Hellea’s curiosity and pride, reminding her to show patience and restraint. Hellea holds deep respect for Ylva’s wisdom and often reflects her mother’s calm approach when guiding otherfels.

Hel is the source of Hellea’s fire. From her, Hellea draws her pride, her refusal to be disrespected, and her hunger for knowledge of hidden things. Their relationship is more complicated. Hellea adores her mother and fiercely defends her name, but Hel’s legacy also casts a heavy shadow on Hellea and her entire family. Criticism toward Hel often provokes Hellea’s sharpest reactions, for she sees an attack on her mother as an attack on herself. Still, she carries Hel’s strength proudly, regarding them as gifts that shape her identity.

Juno is the unexpected turn in Hellea’s story. Her mothers gave her the foundations of who she is, her soul, but Juno pulls her forward, reminding her there is more to life than duty and trade. With Juno, Hellea finds wonder again; laughter that comes easy, a gaze that asks for nothing but honesty and love. Juno softens her sharp pride with warmth instead of challenges, showing her that strength can be shared, and that opening her heart does not make her weak or less of a leader. With Juno, the future feels like hers to claim, shaped by a choice alongside fate rather than expectation, a path she stepped onto without hesitation despite the walls she once built to keep love away.
