Once Laurel puts her mind to something, there is little to deter her from achieving her goals. She is driven by a strong sense of righteousness and overall fearlessness. Laurel is tenacious and assertive, not afraid to speak her mind and/or take what she needs. She is not afraid to socialize with anyone and is, quite often, the loudest one in groups. To befriend Laurel, is to make a life-long friend as long as you maintain her trust. She is highly appreciative of family and friends, using her loyalty has a way to show her gratitude. She shows extreme devotion to those she loves and will go at great lengths to defend them. It takes a lot for her loyalty to waver for someone as she often will shun/dismiss those that speak ill of those she cares about. Laurel knows that she has talents in the art of combat and she knows that she is a capable warrior. She rarely ever hesitates and is not one to fall victim to insecurities. She is a proud Felvarg and knows her worth–regardless of what others may think or say about her. She is not easily intimidated.
Laurel’s moral compass is strong, causing her to be steadfast in her beliefs and values. She is not open to reason once she puts her mind to something. She is averse to compromise and will tend to react poorly if offered one. Additionally, she is not one to admit defeat–she will fight as long as she is able to. Laurel is unintentionally dominating, her presence being intense; she’s large, loud and has a resting bitch face. While her words are mannered and insightful, she struggles with the volume of her voice. This issue grows worse with her passionate nature due to how invigorated she gets. She means well, but often focuses so much on what to say that she disregards how the rest of her may come across. Laurel is a creature of physicality – she responds well to touch and often communicates with it. To those that she calls friends, she shows her affection through touch such as snuggling, nuzzling, etc.
She is critical of herself and those around her – she wants to ensure that people are well equipped to fend for themselves and are following the rules. If there is space for it, she is not afraid to call someone out. Laurel's criticalness often lends itself to her tendency to be intolerant in her beliefs and will look down on those who condemn the rules and alphas. She refuses to be pulled down by those who have given up and she will not stand allowing them to give up on themselves either. If she feels her thoughts are needed in a conversation, Laurel has no qualms in barging into one and sharing them. Most see it as her being meddlesome, but it is not out of malice or self-absorption, however; she wants to be there for others and provide insight that might be of use to them. Whether her intrusion is a welcome one is up for debate, though... But there's small room for error as far as the warrior is concerned. Laurel is quick to take action for most things, regardless of the consequences. She has the tendency to be erratic, impulsive and even impatient. She is not one to wait for things to happen and much rather get results as soon as possible. When she is caught up in her passions, she can forget her own strength.
