History

Banshee was born a nameless and unwanted puppy by her birth mother. Having mated with an already mated Fel that hadn't chosen her in the end, abandoned the puppy in a small, family pack's territory. The alpha male had found the large puppy after investigating the stranger's scent on the wind and were taken aback that said stranger had abandoned their own puppy in the middle of winter. The pack quickly pulled the puppy who's nose and mouth were turning blue from the snow and hurried her back to the pack's den where their own singleton puppy lay warm and full at his own mother's belly fur. After a brief discussion, the alpha pair had decided to keep the abandoned puppy and placed her besides her new littermate, snuggling into the warmth of her new mother's fur.

As the puppy grew, she knew nothing of her actual origins and grew up just like her male littermate in her pack's odd traditions of not naming their puppies but letting them name themselves by what makes them stand apart from the rest of the pack's young. Banshee and her brother were often called "pup" or "puppy" until Banshee set herself apart from her brother in a rather unfortunate way. Unlike her brother's beautiful and smooth first howl, Banshee's howl sounded off as a horrid screeching shriek.
