Vanderwood is at a first glance, a blunt and standoffish fel. He takes his job as being the head of Winterfell's guard seriously, and even more so the protection of Lucina. Past the abrasive appearance, Vanderwood is a fatherly and friendly felvarg who is willing to offer a helping hand to those in need.
He shrouds his past in secrets and speaks very little of it, yet is always willing to give somefel a second chance to redeem themselves. When asked why, he claims to have his reasons without explaining why.
Vanderwood is a strong warrior and can constantly be seen training or fixing his weapons and armor. He takes great pride in his skills and knowing that he can protect those dear to him.
History
Puppyhood - Unknown
Teenager - Joined in on a few bandit groups, overall troublemaker.
Young Adult - Became a mercenary and took on frowned upon jobs. The jobs slowly began to turn more and more dark and resulted in more than a few deaths by his own two paws. He played dirty and didn't see a reason to not go along with the highest paying fel asking for someone to go missing. His final job led to him meeting Lucina's father in a failed attack on the local hunting party. Instead of sentencing Vanderwood to certain death for his crimes, he was offered a new chance at life as a guard in training. Vanderwood accepted the offer and has been trying to leave his past behind him. Meeting Lucina as a young pup, he wasn't sure at first but now loves her like his own daughter and has vowed to protect her at any costs.
