Personality

She is as enigmatic as a fel can be, finding herself aloof and uncaring for mortal activities. She has no interest in most things as gods don't typically have the wants of mortals and Lurue is no different. She finds her duties sacred and holds them above all else. Lurue is absolutely fascinated by new species that find their way into the realm above all else her favorites being Nattnkats. Kin or not she loves observing them and being in their presence. She doesn't mind the presence of felvargs though she does see herself above them. Fellow dietys she shows basic respect and courtesy but they are no match for her favorite felines. From a surface view she is a kind, wise dreamer that follows in the footsteps of her favored companions and on the inside she is a childish, slightly selfish god that only does as she pleases.

Interactions

Stemming slightly from her love for Nattnkats Lurue found herself absolutely fascinated by the pink kin. Uncertain of her unstable energy she found herself following the small creature wherever she goes. Their friendship started off on a rocky slope but eventually the two grew to have an inseparable familial bond.

Lurue approaches!

Nightfall recognizes something decidedly unlike the mortals who have wandered before her. Her chains whisper as she shifts, regarding Lurue with an expression caught somewhere between respect and scrutiny. “The keeper of dusk comes to my hollow without a question.” A knowing smile curls across her muzzle. “How fitting. Twilight has always preferred its secrets.”

She draws.
The first card Nightfall draws is 'The Embered Helvallian Star (Upright)'.
“Even those who guide the night require a light of their own.”
Hope, guidance, and serenity follow Lurue. She has long served as a beacon for others, but the Star suggests something may soon remind this timeless creature that even a deity can still discover wonder for herself. There is light ahead that does not ask her to guide or protect anyone, but simply invites her to experience something for her own sake.

The next 3 cards Nightfall draws are:
Ancestor of Tides (Reversed)
“Wisdom becomes lonely when held too far above everyone else.”
Lurue's distance grants perspective, but it can also become isolation. The cards gently warn that being ancient does not make companionship beneath her; some bonds are meant to bring even gods closer to the earth. Allowing herself to be known rather than merely revered may give her something eternity alone cannot provide.

Wanderer of Roots (Upright)
“Ah. So the old goddess still wanders.”
Curiosity remains one of Lurue's brightest sparks. Strange creatures, unfamiliar places, and unexpected adventures may continue pulling her beyond the boundaries of sacred duty. The Wanderer of Roots suggests that exploration itself may become a source of renewal, reminding her that even after countless years, there are still corners of the world capable of surprising her.

Two of Tides (Upright)
“And there it is. Someone managed to catch you.”
A genuine bond has rooted itself within Lurue's otherwise elusive heart. Whatever shape that connection takes, it is reciprocal, powerful, and worth allowing herself to cherish. The Two of Tides suggests that this connection may offer more than affection alone; it gives Lurue a reason to remain present, vulnerable, and willing to let another share in the vastness of her existence.

Nightfall leaves you with parting words:
Nightfall's gaze settles upon the Two of Tides, and amusement flickers behind her eyes. “How curious. A timeless keeper of dusk, removed from mortal affairs... and yet the cards speak most loudly of connection.” She glances toward Lurue. “Perhaps eternity was never meant to be spent watching the world from above. Keep setting the sun, goddess. Keep your mysteries if you must.” Her smile sharpens now into something more wicked. “But when something small, strange, and terribly inconvenient gives you reason to follow it into tomorrow... follow it you shall.”
