Lumos is a quiet and enigmatic presence. He is never hurried, nor uncertain of his decisions. While he speaks very few words, he chooses each one carefully giving his words the weight of somfel who is unbothered by the constraints of time. He does not ask questions, does not press for motives, nor does he offer any judgement. Lumos is neither warm nor cold in his demeanor, he is merely an unshakable and impartial embodiment of patience.

To Lumos, the desires of those seeking the Temple of Rokir are theirs and theirs alone. Although he has no stake in the fates of those he guides, he would never refuse a traveler or turn anyfel away. Lumos remains loyal to the temple, even when travelers hesitate or grow uncertain of his erratic path, he will not force them forward. He merely waits patiently, unbothered by their doubt until they either follow or are lost to the veil.

HISTORY

Lumos is the acting guide and ferrier of the Temple of Rokir, located to the south of Helvalla. Lumos can be found wandering the edges of the Temple’s domain at twilight in search of anyfel who is seeking out the temple. Lumos does not judge those who come to visit the temple as his purpose is not to decide who is worthy of the Temple’s blessing, and regardless of their alignment or intent, Lumos will lead the way. Following Lumos toward the Temple can be quite jarring as Lumos will twist and turn in various directions as if he were navigating a labyrinth only he can see. Though Felvargs begin their journey at twilight and seemingly walk for hours, the sky does not phase from twilight suggesting that time stands still here. However, caution should be taken. Should anyfel panic and stray from his guidance, the sky will darken with every step they take away from his side until they are surrounded by darkness leaving only onefel’s thoughts to keep them company. Once here, even Lumos can not find them.
