Personality
Alder is a creature of great integrity. He has a hard time understanding motivations that vary from his own, but as he always says “Just because I don’t understand does not mean I cannot respect.” He has difficulty with change, and thinking on his feet. Alder becomes easily stressed, and can lash out at others when he does not realize that he’s overwhelmed. Alder has a great amount of compassion, and when he does make a mistake, he is generally willing to make amends in speech and manner to avoid the issue recurring. Alder is a gentle soul, who loves to watch the stars at night, and dream about what the world could be. One of Alder’s greatest traits is that he is a creature who believes strongly in the idea of whimsy. Stories told to pups, the idea of magic or mysticism, these all interest Alder greatly. Some say the Direwolf has the mind of a child, but he simply says that he has an open one. Alder is a quizzical creature. Whenever he does not understand something, he will poke and prod to try and understand. Even though he has difficulty with those motivations, he wants to learn. Knowing how things work helps to assuage his anxiety, and make him better able to function in the world around him.
