Personality
Naim, born with the name Ha-Yaba, was created in the Great Maw by the alphas as a guardian spirit of nature, particularly the plants of Ulfrheim, and was tasked with the duty of protecting them while given an ability to speak to flowers. It was a task she was happy to take on and performed her duties well in her younger years. As she grew older and after accidentally stumbling across the camp of a few friendly felvargs, she became more curious about what life was like beyond the world of the alphas and her blessed duties. What was life really like for ordinary felvargs? It was something that fascinated her and she began lurking in the villages and meeting with more and more other felvargs of all types and personalities. Charmed by the world of common felvargs, Naim became distracted from her duties and began merging with the rest of felvarg society. This brought some trouble from the alphas, particularly her short-fused father, and led to her running away from her home in the Maw to begin a new life in the lands of Ulfrheim. Naim became an adventurer and explorer, learning as much as she could about felvarg life, and ended up becoming a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none type. She has since grown from being a reclusive spirit to a quirky, sassy and clever female who doesn't mind getting into trouble from time to time. There are even rumors she joins a pirate crew from time to time. While she does little to perform the duties of her birthright, the flowers still speak to her... and even ask for her to return to her home.

Naim met Asterin by chance and immediately liked her, even though Asterin was slow to warm up to the curly. The two eventually became friends as Naim discovered that Asterin was a very attentive listener; the most attentive listener she had ever met. In exchange, Naim is respectful of Asterin's secrets and will not pry about what Asterin doesn't wish to tell. They mutually want to put the past behind them and look forward into the future.
