Personality
In his prime, Rockwell was an explorer extraordinaire, a gentlevarg, and a scholar. He roamed the lands of Ulfrheim, eager to explore it all and learn about the world he lived in as much as he could, and document it all for future generations to remember him and all his work for years to come. He's since mostly retired from his adventuring days though. After an incident with a misread spellbook and some odd crystals in the depths of helheim earned him the gaping glow on his chest. Thankfully he was able to stop the botched incantation before it spread too far, but damage had already clearly been done. The residual energy having crackled along his left leg and the side of his face. He struggles with accepting that what was done to him was entirely his own fault for tampering with things he didn't understand. Which has caused his demeanor to bitter over the years. He developped a limp that's never gone away, and with not being able to travel as far or as frequently as he could. He's holed himself up in his house in the village of Reynir. Though he can't document his own discoveries anymore, he still holds the ideal that exploration is vitally important to understanding the world, and wants to nuture that ideal in younger, more able-boddied felvargs with a knack for adventuring. So that they can continue his work where he cannot, and so that he might live vicariously through them as he hears of their travels.
