Personality:

This boy is quite the snob; he realizes just how magnificent he looks and boy he sure shows it. He's not shy about it either, but shows it in as few words as possible.

He's not real talkative, and usually only speaks when first spoken to, and uses as little words as possible in most of his replies. He's not as social as most, but he will indulge you if you desire it. Just don't expect a whole lot out of him, he's kinda selfish in the fact that, he would much rather talk about himself than about you or your interests. Loves to read and has a off the wall and rather odd fear of the dark; he always carries a well lit lantern with him everywhere he goes, in fact even during the day he has one. Don't touch his lamp either, or you may just feel his wrath.

He's adventurous when he feels the time is right but never really goes out of his way to really do so. He'll go when he's bored and when other's ask for him to join. Sometimes its begrudgingly and others its for alternate motives, for whatever reason. He'd much rather stay in his cave and read a book or two as apposed to being social. He's very flamboyant in both appearance and actions and many tend to be off put by it. He's very out there and can be a bit much to most.

He's highly intelligent and due to this, always feels the need to argue facts with those who wish to do so. Arguing with him however, is not wise as he's pretty headstrong in the fact that he feels he's always right; you're welcome to try though! He's a loyal friend to those who manage to make it that far with him, but he indeed keeps his inner circle really small. Don't be sad if he would rather not include you, honestly you're likely better off that way.

HISTORY

Haldir; or Hal as he's affectionately known as more so than not, is quite the knowledge vice. He's spend years studying all types and forms of magic and its uses. At one point he grew a little TOO hungry for knowledge and power and ended up dabbling in that which he really shouldn't have; being ultimately shunned for it also. For a time he lived on his own with only his one animal companion for companionship. Many years on his own has hardened him into the varg his is today. While he's very standoffish and snobby at first, he does has a soft side that he does like to have creep out from time to time. He doesn't trust easily though due to this betrayal of banishment thus you got to earn his trust to really see the Hal he is deep down. Quirks: Always seen with a well lit lantern or light source with him at all times. He's got a very un-rational fear of the dark from the things he's seen in the past. His lantern which is powered by arcane energy is always carried around his neck; no touchy. Has an array of various Arcane stones attached to it to feed off of and thus stays lit indefinitely.
