Personality:

Born in the depths of Vaskar, Inkwell spent his entire adolescence underground without ever seeing the light of day. His eyes grew accustomed to the darkness, giving him amazing night vision from his time in the caves while impairing his normal vision due to lack of exposure to sunlight throughout his youth so that he is near blind when above ground. His parents passed away or disappeared when he was very young - he was never entirely sure what happened to them, but they never returned for him from one of their expeditions to gather resources from one of the villages in the outside world. As he matured from a pup into an adult, he began having visions of the outside world in his sleep that became more frequent as he aged until every night he dreamed of seemingly mundane life events that happened over the island. Eventually one of his dreams centered on Vaskar and he sought out the location of it the next morning, hoping to find the reasoning for this constant vivid dreams of a world he had never known, and came face to face with the female from his dream when he arrived. Wheep was just where he had dreamed of her, lost and wandering through the various tunnel systems and at last he realized that some - if not all - of his dreams showed him things that would truly come to pass. When the dwarf begged his assistance in finding her way out of the cave, he had known the path they must take despite never having ventured towards the surface in his waking life. Once out of the caves she had begged Ink to travel back to her pack with her, and something told him that he should go. Relying on her to lead him through the sunlight where he could not see, Inkwell found himself being welcomed into the pack as a hero and pleaded with to stay. Learning to live above ground after a life in darkness was a challenge, but he embraced it and took up a position as Builder among Hlif-Vindr, while his true dreams still came every night now, other members of the pack would seek out the subjects of any dreams he could find the meaning and purpose in to lend their assistance through the challenges he foresaw for them. He is quiet and keeps much to himself among the pack, keeping to the shadows when possible to make the most of his poor day vision and enjoys coming up with new designs for equipment and new alchemical mixtures to assist the pack.
