For such a small Felvarg, there seems to be a lot trapped inside of this little spitfire. There was a time before she was like this though, a time where she had hands instead of paws, used weapons over her teeth and claws. She served in Loki’s army, a sweet and loyal girl who thought that she was doing what was best for the world. She fell into the angry god’s lies, his promises of taking care of them and needing to save the island from the vicious predators that haunted it. It was all going so well, she was devoted to her studies and training, all until that fateful night. The curse came over her fast and hard, forcing her into a foreign body. It wasn’t the only new thing that she discovered, because it would seem that her new body came with a personality of its own. Vigdis awoke stunned and confused, feeling torn apart inside. Her new body was awkward and lanky, and in her fear she fled as quickly as she could. The new-found dwarf ended up making it to the main island somehow, which is when she felt the first shift in her mood. It was nearly like another soul brushing over hers, something dark and sickly. The once sweet and caring girl felt her first rush of bloodlust, the want to kill and murder. Vi fought back all she could, shoving this new personality so far back in her mind, doing her best to keep it under lock and key. In a new world, new body, and new mind, she was terrified. The small female tried to keep to herself as best as she could, wary of those around her. She could feel her stomach churn as other Felvargs looked at her, wondering if they could see her for who she really was. Keeping mostly to the shadows, she didn’t interact with others at all. That was all until she stumbled upon the Reka pack, finding herself surrounded by the stench of blood and death. It was then that she felt that brush of darkness again, and in her moment of frozen fear, it took over for the first time. In moments she changed into a crazy animal, unlike one anyone in the pack had seen before. Her “slips” as she called them started to happen more and more frequently as she joined the pack ranks, becoming something that she hated so much to see. But Vigdis lost herself in these shifts of personality, feeling everything in such heightened lengths. She didn’t just become angry, she became rip-your-face-off, bloodthirsty, vicious. Nothing stood in her path. But that sweet side of her was still there, struggling to maintain control of this new body. But with every kill, she could feel herself slipping further and further away. Losing control of any of these personality shifts, she would sometimes “wake up” in the middle of a kill, but knew that it would be her dead if she didn’t finish it. Sometimes, in those moments of weakness, she almost allowed herself to become the victim. That would stop it all, right? That would end all of it. But no, she wouldn’t give up the fight. Vigdis’ mind is in constant war with itself, and each day that passes within Reka ranks, she feels like she loses a little more. She grows fearful of these shifts, worried that her main, sweeter side will appear at the worst of times. Part of her wants to rank up further just so that she can leave pack lands for a moment to breathe, but lives in constant fear of everyone around her finding out. She’s in more of a kill-or-be-killed situation than she ever could have imagined, feeling lost at every turn.
