Personality:

Zaeed always seems to carry a threatening, dangerous air about him. It could be the fact that despite his size his every step is dead silent, or the fact that his face is either unreadable or lightly sneering at everyone. He doesn’t interact with others very often and when he does it’s usually to throw them out of his path. He’s rather impatient and functions on no one’s time but his own, often only venturing out at night. Rumors of his deeds have nearly always danced around him, in whispers that usually tell the story of how he murdered an entire pack of 14, and that the glow of his eyes is because his soul is corrupted. Anyone would nervously laugh with disbelief if they were told that the beautiful, mournful voice that echoed through the lands every blue morning was his. Or that he’s maintaining a facade to bury his crippling pain, having never recovered from the massacre of his first pack and is slowly suffocating from survivors guilt. He’s never told anyone what happened largely due to the fact that he blames himself and has decided to shut himself off from the world. He has rare, short moments when the storm lifts and he becomes his old self again, lazily strolling through the forest and taking in the beauty of the land. When he’s entertaining himself by watching the shenanigans of the prey in his territory, or he ventures into a nearby village midday to help the young and elderly despite the wide berth granted to him. These moments never last more than several hours, and when they’re over he tends to be twice as brooding and short-tempered than before.
